SimplyTronics Line Follower Sensor

The ST Line Follower Sensor has a digital output (line or no-line) and includes on-board LEDs which provide instant feedback about the sensor status, without requiring PC connection for debugging.

The ST Line Follower Sensor is very easy to use. Just connect it with a standard 3-pin cable (usually called servo extension cable). It can be wired to a breadboard or just connected to the headers of the ST EDU board ST-00101 or most other robotic boards (like BOE, Shield BOE, etc.).

Warning: Voltage- and Static-sensitive Device

  • These sensors are delicate, static-sensitive devices requiring proper voltage
  • Observe proper anti-static techniques when handling them
  • Disconnect all power before connecting or disconnecting the module to a circuit
  • Do not reverse polarity of the power connections, it could destroy the device
